A service fee applies to each approved USAA Device Protection claim.

The amount of your service fee depends on your device's retail price and whether your device is repaired or replaced.

Devices With a Retail Price Below $500

Repair: $49
Reimbursement: $99

Devices With a Retail Price of $500 or More

Repair: $99
Reimbursement: $199

What If My Device Cannot Be Repaired?

Every effort will be made to repair your device when possible.

If your device cannot be repaired and a reimbursement is issued, the applicable reimbursement service fee will apply.

When Do I Pay My Service Fee?

The applicable service fee must be paid after the claim is approved before service can be provided.
