 Why Did My Claim Expire?

Why a claim may expire if you do not complete the required steps after approval.

Your claim expires 30 days from the date it was approved if you do not complete the claims process within that timeframe.

To keep your claim active, you must complete the required next step, such as taking your device to a repair location, mailing it in for repair or replacement, or providing requested documentation.

Why Might My Claim Expire?

Your claim will expire if you do not complete the required action within 30 days of approval, including if you:

  • Do not take your device to the required repair location.
  • Do not mail your device when instructed.
  • Do not provide requested documentation.
  • Do not complete another required step in the claims process.

Your claim details and communications from bolt may provide additional information about the action required and the deadline for completing it.

Can an Expired Claim Be Reopened?

An expired claim may not always be eligible to be reopened.

If your claim has expired, and only a few days have passed, contact bolt Customer Support as soon as possible to ask whether additional assistance is available. Reopening a claim is not guaranteed.

What Should I Do?

Review your bolt claims portal and any emails you received for information about your claim deadline and required next steps.

If you have questions about your claim's expiration or need help completing the claims process, contact bolt Customer Support before the 30-day deadline.
