Will I Receive a Refund If I Cancel My USAA Device Protection Plan?
How refund eligibility is determined when you cancel your device protection plan.
You can cancel your USAA Device Protection plan at any time. Whether you receive a refund depends on when you cancel, how your plan is billed, previous service costs, and any applicable state requirements.
If You Cancel Within 30 DaysIf you cancel within 30 days of your Plan Purchase Date, you may be eligible for a refund of the Total Plan Price paid, less any applicable service costs.
Fixed-Term PlansIf you paid for a fixed-term plan in full and cancel after the first 30 days, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. Applicable service costs and administrative fees may be deducted from your refund.
If your fixed-term plan is paid in installments, your coverage will continue through the end of the period for which your last installment was paid. You will not be charged again after your cancellation takes effect.
Monthly PlansIf you have a monthly plan, your coverage will continue through the end of the period for which your last monthly payment was paid. You will not be charged again after your cancellation takes effect.
How Is My Refund Determined?Refund eligibility and the amount of any refund depend on the terms of your specific plan. State-specific cancellation and refund requirements may also apply.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that a refund is due.
